You can imagine how excited I was, when I came home with a new H+M purchase - (you might know the one - the cosy, green, embellished knit in the images below +the same one plastered on the many billboards scattered around Sydney + Melbourne).
I was playing around with it, wondering why indeed I needed another green jumper (sue me, I like green + the price was easily justified). Then a light bulb moment, I pulled out my summer H+M purchase (the feminine, glamorous, midi, full skirt that looks like silk but is actually tencel!) + they work together ! Not only do they WORK together, but I realised the options are endless + the below images are just the beginning for my plans with this cosy knit + my favourite green skirt. The bottom images are one way I wore this skirt when the sun was shining + the heat was ON!
There are so many options when you purchase something new or pre loved - like my Mui Mui heels 'with hardware' - be experimental with your wardrobe, try things on...see how it feels, how it makes you feel + try something new. Take a look through your jewellery + handbags, paint your nails (have you tried Sally Hansen's new 'Miracle Gel'? - amazing) + add some gloss to your gorgeous pout.
Do you struggle to mix + match, new with old, old with new, help is at hand.

The Bomber Jacket
The Bomber Jacket, the jacket that just keeps coming back, I'm not sure it's ever left some wardrobes. You either love it or you hate it, it either makes you look groovy + cool (Lara Worthington) or square + chunky! I come in the latter category, but I still love it - at least the new season. Memories of a gorgeous boy I dated at College (the early 90's for those of you who can relate) come flooding back. He always wore a baseball jacket (he loved all North American sports) much like the bomber jackets we are seeing this season. Except of course, the ones I remember had leather or suede sleeves, heavy woollen bodice + were way too oversize + bulky to suit me. This season I've been looking out for a 'bomber jacket' to add to my wardrobe + I was fortunate enough to find one close to home + pre loved! Thank you Manly Village Markets!
Here are a few options I'm using to make the most of this gorgeous, sequined, fitted (no label) bomber jacket. The options are endless, it's only a matter of trying them out, blending styles together + making the fun times last longer!!
White Volley's are my go to flats, they are so versatile + comfortable. I love heels + I wear heels but certainly not for the extended time I wear my Volley's! top left - I've paired a leather pencil skirt, white 'T'+ Volleys - this could take you all day to a casual Friday night dinner, simply change the shoes to a heel. top right - Much loved Men's Levi's, white 'T' once again, black pointy heels, nude clutch + statement necklace. bottom left - camouflage boyfriend jeans + a bold clutch works in nicely for a casual yet very chic look of the day.
